Chopper Twirls Out of Control into Palm Groves at Frequented California Beach
A chopper soaring near a crowded California shoreline suddenly began spiraling out of control, ultimately descending rapidly and smashing into a cluster of palm trees as onlookers watched.
Videos shared online capture the aircraft commencing to spiral above the beach then falling in the direction of the edge of the shore, where it gets stuck amidst palms and a set of stairs adjacent to the coastal road.
First Aid Details
The Huntington Beach fire department said five persons were transported to a medical facility involving two who were in the helicopter and were “extracted safely from the crash site” subsequent to the crash on the weekend.
Three people on the road were injured. Information on their injuries were not yet released.
What led to the incident was not yet disclosed.
